Galaxy Hall Deadline to be announced

If the main stage is about what you found out, the community track is about how we gather and how we learn.

It does not have to be finished research. A year of running a study group, a side project you abandoned, security seen through a beginner\u2019s eyes — anything that saves someone else time is welcome.

Stories we would like to hear

  • Running a community or study group — how you gathered people, kept them, and kept yourself from burning out
  • Side projects — a security tool, an automation, an experiment. It does not have to be finished.
  • What went wrong — the rollout that failed, the proposal that died, the decision you reversed
  • A beginner\u2019s view — where you got stuck getting into security, and how you got unstuck
  • Changing tracks — development to security, or security to somewhere else

Format and length

  • Length: 15–20 minutes
  • Room: Galaxy Hall (250 seats)
  • When: 14:00–16:00 on the day
  • We select five or six speakers.

Good to know

  • You do not need speaking experience. If you want it, the organisers will help you shape the talk and rehearse it.
  • Individuals, teams and communities can all apply.
  • Selected speakers get free admission and lunch, plus an invitation to the networking gathering afterwards.
  • The submission deadline will be posted here and on our channels as soon as it is set.
